Shopping vocabulary — in a mallel comercial / el centro comercial (shopping centre), abierto (open), quedan (there are … left — from quedar), la camisa (shirt), la talla (size), calcetines (socks), la ropa (clothing — collective), la oferta (sale/special offer), rebajadas (reduced/on sale — adj. plural).
🔧
Quedar — the versatile verb¿Cuántos quedan? (How many are left?). ¿Me queda bien? (Does it suit me? Does it fit me?). Queda lejos (It's far away). Me quedan diez euros (I have ten euros left). This single verb covers remaining stock, fit/style, distance, and leftover money. Recognising these uses is key for natural shopping language.
