Practise Spanish clothing vocabulary. Write the Spanish name for each item of clothing shown. Beginner–elementary level.

Wardrobe essentialsla camiseta (T-shirt) vs. la camisa (dress shirt) — keep these straight. Los vaqueros (jeans), los pantalones cortos (shorts), los calcetines (socks). Items worn in pairs use the plural: los zapatos, los calcetines.

Clothing verbsponerse (to put on), quitarse (to take off), llevar/usar (to wear). Se puso la chaqueta (She put on her jacket). ¿Qué llevas puesto? (What are you wearing?). Usar is preferred in Latin America; llevar is more common in Spain.

Shopping and fitting¿Tienes una talla más grande? (Do you have a bigger size?). El suéter me queda bien (The sweater fits me well). ¿Puedo probarme los zapatos? (Can I try on the shoes?). La gorra me queda grande (The cap is too big for me).
