Which word - MUY, MUCHO, or MÁS? 1

Muy, mucho, más — three different functions — Muy (very) intensifies an adjective or adverb: muy alto, muy rápido. Mucho (a lot) quantifies verbs and nouns: trabaja mucho, mucha gente. Más (more) makes comparisons: más alto que, más dinero. Each has its own grammatical slot and cannot replace the others.

Más with adjectives in comparisons — Más + adjective + que forms the comparative: Juan es más alto que Pedro. Irregular comparatives skip más: bueno → mejor, malo → peor, grande → mayor, pequeño → menor. Never say más bueno when mejor is available (though más bueno exists in the sense of kinder).

Mucho más — combining them — Mucho can intensify más: mucho más alto, mucho más difícil, trabaja mucho más. This is the natural way to say "much more" in Spanish. You cannot say muy más — muy never precedes más.
