Forming adverbs from adjectives 2

More practice forming Spanish adverbs with -mente. Includes adjectives with accent marks. Elementary level.
📚 Quick grammar review
📌
Adjectives with one gender form — When the adjective doesn't change for gender — ending in -e, -ista, or a consonant — add -mente directly to the base form: feliz → felizmente, frecuente → frecuentemente, optimista → optimistamente. There is no "feminine" step because the form is already gender-neutral.
🔧
Position of -mente adverbs — Adverbs in -mente usually follow the verb they modify: Habló claramente. They can also precede the verb for emphasis: Claramente, no entiende. They never go between the article and the noun.
💡
Alternatives to -mente — Spanish often prefers a prepositional phrase over a long -mente adverb: con cuidado (carefully), con rapidez (quickly), sin duda (doubtlessly), de repente (suddenly). Both options are correct; prepositional phrases often sound more natural in speech.
