📌
Pronouns after prepositions — After most prepositions, use these forms: mí (me), ti (you), él/ella/usted, nosotros, vosotros, ellos/ellas/ustedes. Only the first two persons are special (mí/ti); all others are the same as subject pronouns. Es para mí. Vengo de ti. Hablan de él.
🔧
Conmigo, contigo, consigo — After con, the first and second person combine into fixed forms: con + mí → conmigo, con + ti → contigo, con + sí → consigo. You cannot say con mí or con ti. Consigo is the reflexive third person: Lo llevó consigo (He took it with him).
💡
Mí with accent vs mi without — Mí (accent) = pronoun after a preposition: para mí, sin mí, a mí me parece. Mi (no accent) = possessive adjective before a noun: mi libro, mi casa. This spelling distinction is tested frequently in written Spanish and matters for clarity.
