Daily routine reflexive verbs — ducharse (to shower), dormirse (to fall asleep), desayunarse (to have breakfast), afeitarse (to shave), maquillarse (to put on makeup), levantarse (to get up — covered earlier in this series). These verbs describe actions done to or for oneself — the backbone of morning routine vocabulary.
🔧
Conjugation pattern — Reflexive verbs use pronouns that match the subject: me ducho, te duchas, se ducha, nos duchamos, se duchan. The pronoun comes before conjugated verbs: Me desayuno rápido. But it attaches to infinitives: Voy a ducharme or Me voy a duchar — both are correct.

Morning routine in Spanish — Me despierto, me levanto, me ducho, me afeito y me visto (I wake up, get up, shower, shave and get dressed). Se maquilló en cinco minutos (She put her makeup on in five minutes). El niño no se quiere calmar (The child doesn't want to calm down). Me reí muchísimo (I laughed a lot).
