📌
Four forms: -o / -a / -os / -as — Adjectives ending in -o have four forms to match the noun they modify: alto, alta, altos, altas. Always identify the noun's gender (masculine/feminine) and number (singular/plural) first, then adjust the adjective ending to match.
🔧
Adjectives that don't change for gender — Adjectives ending in -e or most consonants have the same form for masculine and feminine: un libro interesante, una película interesante. They still add -s or -es for plural: libros interesantes, películas interesantes.
💡
Where adjectives go — Descriptive adjectives normally follow the noun in Spanish: una casa grande, un coche rojo. A small group of common adjectives can precede the noun for stylistic effect or change meaning when they do: un gran hombre (a great man) vs un hombre grande (a large man).
