Truenos and relámpagos — in orderEl relámpago (lightning flash — the light) comes before el trueno (the sound of thunder). La tormenta eléctrica (electrical storm) includes both. La escarcha (frost) appears on surfaces overnight: hay escarcha en el coche (there's frost on the car). Una ola de calor (a heatwave) vs. una ola de frío (a cold snap).
