Hace, hay, está — weather constructions — Spanish uses different verbs for weather: Hace calor/frío (It's hot/cold). Hay niebla/viento (It's foggy/windy). Está nublado/despejado/soleado (It's cloudy/clear/sunny). Llueve / nieva (It's raining / snowing — verb only). El tiempo está muy húmedo hoy (The weather is very humid today). Mixing these up is one of the most common errors.
