Classic false friend: embarazadaEmbarazada means pregnant, never embarrassed. To say you're embarrassed: Me da vergüenza or Estoy avergonzado/a. Saying Estoy embarazada when you mean 'I'm embarrassed' will cause great amusement to Spanish speakers. Empinado/a (steep) is essential for describing hills, stairs and mountain paths.
