📌
More cinema vocabulary — el documental (documentary), emocionante (exciting/moving), la actriz (actress), el/la protagonista (protagonist — same form for both genders), la escena (scene), el inicio (beginning), el final (ending), el papel (role), el terror (horror), extranjero/a (foreign).
🔧
Protagonista — invariable gender — El/la protagonista doesn't change form: La protagonista de la película es increíble (The (female) protagonist of the film is incredible). El papel means role (as well as paper): Ella hace el papel de la villana (She plays the role of the villain). Una película de terror (a horror film) — genre vocabulary.
💬
Reviewing and recommending films — El inicio es lento pero el final es increíble (The beginning is slow but the ending is incredible). Es una película muy emocionante (It's a very moving film). ¿Has visto algún documental bueno últimamente? (Have you seen any good documentaries lately?). Prefiero películas extranjeras con subtítulos (I prefer foreign films with subtitles).
