Aguantar — a very Spanish verbAguantar means to tolerate, endure, or put up with something: No aguanto más (I can't take it anymore). Aguanta un poco (Hold on / Bear with it). It's also used for holding breath: Aguanta la respiración (Hold your breath). A verb that appears constantly when emotions run high.
